When you take into account that half of American women over age 50 may suffer a fracture due to Osteoporosis and that one in five people with Osteoporosis are male, you can see why it is important for both sexes to protect their bones.

Considering that there are many serious side effects to the medications on the market, it is heartening to know that we can try to keep our bones from thinning with natural nutrition, especially with fruits and vegetables.

The mineral that makes up a large part of our bones is calcium, which, since it is not produced naturally by the body, must be consumed through foods and beverages rich in calcium and also rich in magnesium, potassium, vitamin K, vitamin C, and protein.

We all know that milk and dairy products are significant, but other excellent sources are soybeans, kidney beans, green beans, almonds, brazil nuts, tofu, chickpeas, spinach, broccoli, cauliflower, asparagus, kale, collards, strawberries, oranges, bananas, lemons, cantaloupe, tomatoes, potatoes, carrots, prunes, raisins, liver. as well as calcium-fortified products like orange juice, granola bars, cereal, etc.

Vitamin D it is also important to help your body absorb the calcium, and that can be accomplished with s few as 10 to 15 minutes of direct sunlight three times a week, drinking milk, eating fish such as salmon and sardines with bones, or taking a daily supplement to make up for what you don’t eat.

Juicing vegetables, fruits and herbs is also a way to get the nutrients into your body, with vegetables being high in vitamin K which cements calcium into your bones.

So you can see that there is a wide variety of foods that you can eat to promote your bone density and strength.

There’s no point in worrying about the risk of bone fractures as you age. Adding stress to your life only worsens the situation. Just do something about it — it’s never too late!

Cystic fibrosis is a chronic disease that affects primarily the respiratory, reproductive and digestive tracts. The symptoms may be identified in children and young adults. The average lifespan for patients diagnosed with cystic fibrosis is between 28 to 30 years of age.

The known cause for cystic fibrosis is a defective gene that has the body produce abnormal thick mucus. This mucus builds in the airways of the lungs and can affect the pancreas. It can be deadly because of the lung infections and severe digestive disorders. Cystic fibrosis has also affected men’s reproductive system and sweat glands.

One of the many natural treatments that help patients with cystic fibrosis is Omega 3. It is a highly recommended supplement that can help treat the condition.

Levels of plasma fatty acids are altered in individuals that suffer from cystic fibrosis. With taking Omega-3 that contains fatty acids it can help treat in rebuilding the cell membranes and may even help the function of the lung.

Omega-3 is a fatty acid that helps decrease inflammation in the body and helps improve immunity. Fish oil is an Omega-3 that can be taken in capsule or liquid form. Fish oil is extracted from fatty fish tissue such as sardines, salmon, and mackerel.

Omega-3 has a chain of fatty acid that is called ALA, which is developed in plant oils such as hemp oils and flaxseed.

Individuals that consume Omega-3 in adequate amounts on a daily basis have known to help cystic fibrosis and reduce the risk of other diseases such as coronary disease and diabetes. The Polyunsaturated fats that are contained in Omega-3 are also known to help people with depression and anxiety.

There is a variety of treatments that can help the sufferers of cystic fibrosis. Omega-3 is one that is natural and with research has proven to help people that struggle with the disease.
